About the Fair

The Partnership in Employment Career Fair was first held in 1995 - a collaboration between Gonzaga University, Eastern Washington University, Whitworth University and Washington State University-Spokane. Originally known as the "Partnership in Employment EXPO", the fair has taken place every year since 1995, hosting an average of more than 90 employers with attendance of more than 500 students and alumni.

The Partnership in Employment Career Fair is committed to promoting a diverse workforce. The explicit goals of the partnership are to assist students of all backgrounds in their career searches and to raise employer awareness of the diversity and high quality of the graduates from all four participating universities.

Companies representing a wide range of business and non-profit organizations attend the fair, promoting full-time, part-time and professional internship opportunities. Students and alumni from the four universities come from a diverse range of academic disciplines such as business, English, sociology, economics, computer science and engineering.
