Partnership Fair History
- Established in 1995 by the Career Service offices of Eastern Washington University, Gonzaga University, Whitworth University, and Washington State University.
- The Partnership's first intercollegiate career fair was held in 1995 and has been held annually since then.
- The average number of Employers who attend the fair stands at an impressive 90.
- The number of students and alumni who attend annually is 500+.
- Diverse disciplines ranging from Business, Computer Information Systems, Arts and Science, Medical Services, etc. are represented.
- Employers represented range from business to non-profit, technical to non-technical.
- An explicit goal of the Partnership is to raise employer awareness of the diversity and high quality of the graduates from all four participating Eastern Washington universities.
- Full-time, part-time, co-op, and professional internship opportunities are available to students and alumni.
- The Partnership promotes cultural diversity and seeks to assist students of all backgrounds in their career searches.
- Beginning in 2002 the name of the fair was changed to the Partnership in Employment Career Fair (former name: Partnership in Employment EXPO).
